What I Believe
I believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings. I believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
I believe that the lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I believe in and practice the holy ordinance of water baptism, which signifies the believer's death, burial, and resurrection into new life with Christ Jesus, and the regular celebration of Holy Communion as commanded by our Lord.
I believe in the present ministry and baptism of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. I believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; those that are saved into the resurrection of life and those that are unsaved into the resurrection of damnation.
I believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Breathing Prayer: Devotions for Anxiety
When anxiety’s got you in its grip, it’s hard to avoid worrying. But there's a technique that can help. I call it “breathing prayer.”
By Julia Attaway, New York, New York
Can we talk anxiety? You know what I mean: that roiling inner whirlwind, the blinding, gut-wrenching, confusion-making state of being that takes over our hearts and minds from time to time.
When anxiety’s got you in its grip, it’s hard to avoid worrying about tomorrow. It’s difficult to adopt a Jeremiah 29:11 attitude. Sometimes it seems all we can do is shove our fears heavenward and hope God takes them away. I think there’s a better way.
Anxiety works on a very primitive level. It has a physical component which we can counteract by applying a physical remedy. Several years ago I learned that there’s actually a right way to breathe to reduce anxiety and stress. The Harvard Health Blog calls it breath control. The technique has certain similarities with prayerful meditation, and since it’s completely compatible with faith, I personally call it “breathing prayer.”
Try this: Close your eyes and inhale slowly, imagining pulling the Spirit in so fully that it fills every pore of your body. Make sure your stomach expands; you want to be pregnant with peace. Exhale slowly through your nose.
You can pray while you do this (though if you’re anxious when you start, you probably won’t think of it until after a few breaths, when your head starts to clear). Simple prayers work best:
While inhaling
While exhaling
Come Holy Spirit…
fill my heart
Lord Jesus…
grant me your peace
Lord Jesus…
I love you
If you practice when you’re not in the throes of wild anxiety, it will be easier to pray this way when you are. But “breathing prayer” is a good addition to any regular prayer time. Anything that clears the head and calms the body frees us up to hear God better. And that’s what prayer is all about.

The Lord's Grace
The Lord’s Grace: Tender is thy grace O Lord. It’s thy grace O Lord, that leads me out, of the darkness of my paste. Your grace O Lord move me forward in my new life in your ways. Your grace O Lord takes me through your word and renews my soul and consensus. From seeing only the darkness of this life. Now because of your grace, O Lord I see the light, in the truth, in your ways. Tender but strong are your ways O Lord. Thank you O Lord for the ever present of your grace in my life. That straightens me day by day. Praise the Lord Praise the Lord Amen By Barbara Halladay
Answered Prayer
Answered Prayer From a dark hollow place deep inside of me. Came a urning, it keep me turning, side to side. Then I started to pray. What is it? Make it go away. Then his light came my way. Like a gentle breeze, it came, flooding down, through the darkness of my soul. The sweet, salvation, of my sweet Lord. When I “cried”, out to him to save me ,"Lord save Lord." He anointed my spirit, with his ,Holy Spirit. Releasing me from my dark sinful paste. Now tears of joy replacing tears of shame and anguish. By Barbara Halladay
